1.) This is a very important lesson. DO NOT IMPORT JPEGs into flash. The quality of the image will decrease greatly. Only import GIFs, if you are not sure what the difference is Google it to learn more. Also flash allows gifs to keep transparancy, if you applied transparency to any image you import.

How you import an image, all you have to do is goto File > Import as easy as that.
