1.) First thing is to either draw or decide what character you want to make. You will not learn how to draw here, just how to make a character come alive in flash. In these animation lessons we will be using Toad, from Super Mario. What i usually like to do is group parts of the body that will move or be animated, like the head, feet, arms/hands, body. Shown above.

So now we have our character, you can use any character you want. Just group each part of the body. Get ready for some frame by frame animation. :)
