Create a new object, or in my case for the example, I'll
use text. Make the text or object a symbol by selecting
it and going to Insert> Convert to Symbol(F8) make
the symbol a graphic and name it.

Next, I want to make a keyframe at frame 10, click on
frame 10 in the timeline and go to Insert>keyframe(
F6)

Now we'll make the text fade away. Go to the effects panel
and select alpha. Drop the alpha down to 0%

Select your keyframe in frame 1 and go to Insert>Create
motion tween. Your done Publish It!
